A gathering of the women of the church where love, laughter and faith are on display.
The Guild quietly and lovingly provides support to mission work and efforts. They are a blessing to many. In addition to their monthly meeting, the Ladies Guild provides care and kindness with bereavement luncheons.
They also organize the Sauerkraut Dinners the last Saturday in February - the dinner goes on no matter what.
On the second Saturdays of March and October, the Guild conducts a rummage sale.
Where you find the miracle of community & a shared meal.
F&L began in 2010 when a couple of active families decided that they needed to have more time together around the dinner table. The dinner and fellowship have evolved into a community outreach that is open to all. Dinner is usually on time, if not, you have the opportunity to meet someone new.
Politics, religion, food, and bingo are all served up.
Although entitled Senior Social, this lunch bunch welcomes all. Come join them when you are in neighborhood and need a quick bite to eat...and you might just decide to extend your lunch break.
Our Whole Lives is a series of sexuality education programs for six age groups: grades K-1, grades 4-6, grades 7-9, grades 10-12, Young Adults and Adults. The resources are written by professional sexuality educators and provide accurate information for parents, teachers and pastors to be used in the affirming and supportive setting of our churches.
Our Whole Lives, together with Sexuality and Our Faith, helps participants make informed and responsible decisions about their relationships, health and behavior in the context of their faith. It equips participants with accurate, age-appropriate information in six subject areas: human development, relationships, personal skills, sexual behavior, sexual health, and society and culture.
It provides not only facts about anatomy and human development, but helps participants to clarify their values, build interpersonal skills and understand the social, emotional and spiritual aspects of sexuality.

First UCC begins our 9th year as a host congregation for IHN in 2019. We are pleased to collaborate with 10 other religious congregations in the College Hill area. We house families who are homeless for four weeks each year here and four weeks at College Hill Presbyterian Church. In addition, we assist at Grace Place in College Hill during the summer when IHN uses the house. For more information, contact IHN offices at 513-471-1100.
Throughout December, First UCC is collecting green beans for the Christmas celebration at Christ's Community in College Hill. Baskets of food are distributed to more than 300 families at the holidays. Service will be held December 18.

We don't produce Hollywood-style Christmas shows, but you won't want to miss the pageant and luncheon on December 23 at our 10:15 service. Pot-luck dinner after the charming Christmas story is told with our youth during worship.
Christmas Eve services will be held at 5 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. Both will have special music and words from our pastors Dan and Karen. All are welcome.
First UCC is again thankful for the opportunities to partner with CAIN (Churches Active in Northside), Christ's Community, Washington UCC, and our UCC Mission Priority Board. Each of these groups works collaboratively and carries out the healing and life-giving good news of faith. May our prayers and good work continue into 2019.
